The Dodgers put Manny Ramirez on waiver and the Chicago White Sox claimed him ending the Mannywood era at Dodger Stadium. Ramirez became a White Sox and the Dodgers received nothing in return. Other transactions include the activation of reliever Ronald Belisario the Dodgers catcher Russell Martin was put on the disabled list. He had season ending hip surgery.

Activated

Dodgers activated LF Reed Johnson from the 15-day disabled list.
Dodgers activated RHP Ronald Belisario from the restricted list.
Dodgers activated RHP Jeff Weaver from the 15-day disabled list.
Dodgers activated C Rod Barajas after being acquired from the New York Mets.
