Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers completed a bid sweep over the Nationals in Washington D.C. Sunday with a 7-2 victory. Yasmani Grandal, Yasiel Puig, and Kike Hernandez all hit homers in the win.
Whether the return of Justin Turner provided the jolt to the lineup the club sorely needed, or they’re simply playing better over the last five days, it’s no matter; a four game winning streak has the Dodgers at 20-26 overall. Not to mention its the best current streak in the NL West, as Los Angeles heads into a crucial 10-game homestand to end the month of May.
The Diamondbacks have come back to earth and are reeling on a four game slide. The Dodgers sit five games back of first place with an opportunity to make up a lot of ground at Dodger Stadium this week. They open a series against the Rockies tonight, then have the 20-28 Padres before finishing the homestand with the Phillies.
Tonight, Walker Buehler faces German Marquez. First pitch is at 7:10, listen live on your Dodgers station, KHTS FM 98.1.
