Hart handed South Torrance a 29-point beatdown, 66-37, in the Division III-AA playoffs. Parker Dominguez, playing with one hand wrapped in bandages, led Hart with 20 points. Imagine what the score would have been if Dominguez had two good hands. Dominguez, the team’s leading scorer and rebounder, cut his left hand in a biking accident last week.

Golden Valley, the Foothill League champions, coasted to a 98-37 win over Beaumont in the Division III-A playoffs. Trevor Wiseman and Maverick Ahanmisi each scored 21 points for Golden Valley. Wiseman also had seven rebounds and Ahanmisi hit six 3-pointers.

Valencia beat Troy, 67-56, and West Ranch downed Serrano, 73-46, in the Division II-AA playoffs.

Canyon lost to top-seeded Thousand Oaks, 69-41, in the Division II-AA playoffs and Saugus lost to La Mirada, 78-52, in Division II-A.

Santa Clarita Christian got 31 points from Davion Cotterell and 14 from David Perrault in a 72-53 win over Twin Pines in the Division VI-AA playoffs.

In boys soccer, West Ranch won its wild card match against Cabrillo of Lompoc, 4-1. Cameron Nelson scored two goals and Steven Delgado had two assists for West Ranch. Golden Valley lost its wild card game, 3-2, to Lompoc.

In college baseball, The Master’s College beat Claremont, 14-6.
