The Hart football team is back in the hunt for the Foothill League championship after an upset win against Valencia.
Hart snapped Valencia’s 13-game league winning streak, 19-14, on a last-minute, 40-yard touchdown catch by Tim White.
Valencia took a one-point lead, 14-13, on touchdown by Tedric Thompson with less than two minutes to play in the game.
But Hart returned the ensuing kickoff to its own 43-yard line. The Indians drove to the Valencia 40-yard line to set up the winning touchdown. White tipped a pass from quarterback Connor Wingenroth to himself and sprinted to the end zone.
