Hart Girls Basketball Routs Golden Valley In League Opener

The Hart girl’s basketball team controlled the game throughout against Golden Valley, defeating the Grizzlies by a score of 74-40.

The Golden Valley girls put up a fight early on, trailing by four after the first quarter, but they couldn’t keep pace with Hart for much longer than the first quarter. The Indians took control in the second quarter and led 34-20 at halftime.

Hart was led by Emily Munoz and captain Annie Chistofferson who finished the game with a game-high 23 points.

“Our motto is to always be the hardest working team on the floor, and that is always our goal. We know that when we do that and we run our stuff we can beat anyone,” Christofferson said following her team’s victory.

Hart will take on Valencia on Friday at 5:00 in the girl’s “KHTS Game of the Night”,  while Golden Valley will look to get back on track against Canyon at the same time. Both of these teams will be at home.
