The Hart football team is ranked No. 1 in the CIF Southern Section Northern Division and the only undefeated team in the top 10.
Hart is coming off a 61-13 thrashing over Golden Valley in Week 2 of Foothill League play.

Two other teams from the Foothill League are in the top 10.
Valencia is ranked No. 4. The Vikings easily defeated West Ranch, 42-6, last week.
Canyon is ranked No. 5. The Cowboys were put to the test in a 23-20 win over Saugus.
The Trinity Classical Academy football team dropped a spot to No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 8-man poll. Trinity lost to Joshua Springs, which moved up to No.2 in the Division 2 8-man poll.
In high school tennis, the Hart girls are ranked No. 4 in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 poll. Hart has an undefeated record at 15-0 and is perfect in the Foothill League at 8-0.
In high school volleyball, the Valencia girls cracked the top 10 in the Southern Section Division 1A poll. La Salle is the No. 1 team in Division 1A.
The Santa Clarita Christian girls volleyball team is ranked No. 5 in the Division 5AA poll.
In high school cross country, the Saugus boys are ranked No. 2 in the Southern Section Division 2 poll. Simi Valley is No. 1.
The Saugus girls cross country team is ranked No. 2 in the Southern Section Division 2 poll. The Canyon girls are ranked No. 5. Simi Valley is No. 1 in the Division 2 rankings.
In hockey, the Kings lost to the visiting Calgary Flames, 3-2. The Flames scored a power play goal with 29 seconds left in regulation.
Next up for the Kings are the Phoenix Coyotes at Staples Center on Thursday.
