Poor air quality caused concerns Friday night, but some High School football games were able to go on as scheduled.

Here are your scores for the Santa Clarita Valley football games played on Sept. 4, 2009.

Final
Hart 28
El Camino Real 33

Hart lost to El Camino Real for the first time in school history. It is only the second time Hart has ever lost to a City Section school. The last time it happened was in 2004, when Hart lost to Birmingham. Hart trailed 26-0 at one point, but scored 28 points in the second half. Hart quarterback CJ Reyes left the game in the fourth quarter with an apparent leg injury and was replaced by Blake Borland.

Final
West Ranch 8
Hueneme 10

West Ranch took an 8-7 lead with under a minute to play, but proceeded to give up a field goal and a safety to lose its season opener. Hueneme kicked a field goal to take a 10-8 lead with 44 seconds in the game.
