Hart golfer Kendell Dusenberry won the Newhall Land Cup individual championship at TPC Valencia, shooting 3-under par 33 over the final nine holes.
Dusenberry won the Newhall Land Cup championship as a freshman three years ago. She also won the Foothill League MVP, finishing two strokes ahead of Hart teammate Jamie Corr.
West Ranch won the team portion of the Newhall Land Cup and the Foothill League championship. West Ranch, Hart and Valencia, the top-three teams in the Foothill League, advance to the CIF golf playoffs.
In college soccer, The Master’s College beat Fresno Pacific, 2-1, and won its third game in a row. Jorge Serrano scored two second-half goals for The Master’s College.

The Trinity Classical Academy football team plays Concordia tonight at Valencia High School.
The West Ranch girls tennis team, ranked No. 1 in the CIF Southern Section Divison III poll, beat Golden Valley, 12-6.
The Wildcats ran their undefeated record to 12-0 and improved to 7-0 in the Foothill League. The doubles teams for West Ranch won all nine of their sets.
The Valencia girls tennis team beat Hart, 13-5, behind a sweep by the Vikings No. 1 doubles team. Shenelle Trujillo and Michele Savage won their sets, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1.
The Saugus girls tennis team beat Canyon, 16-2. Megan Soucy, the No. 1 singles player for Saugus, swept her sets, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
In baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals won Game 1 of the World Series, 3-2, over the Texas Rangers. Allen Craig drove in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning for the Cardinals.
Game 2 is tonight in St. Louis.
In hockey, the Kings are back on the road for a game against the Coyotes in Phoenix. The Kings won their home opener, 5-0, over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.
