Santa Clarita High School Football: Hart Faces Upland In CIF Playoffs
The Hart Indians are the lone Foothill League football team remaining in the CIF Southern Section West Valley Division Playoffs. The Indians are looking to advance to the semifinals but standing in their way Highlanders of Upland High School.
The Hart Indians enter the game with an 8-3 overall record and riding the momentum of a come from behind victory against the Edison Chargers last week, 30-22.
Trailing 19-10 at halftime the Indians rode the familiar connection of Brady White to Trent Irwin to outscore the Chargers 20-3 in the second half.

Upland High School will a much tougher test for the Indians this week. The Baseline League Champion Highlanders are the number 1 overall seed in the West Valley Division.
Upland holds a 9-2 overall record with their only losses coming to powerhouses in high school football, Tesoro and Mater Dei.
The Hart Indians finished second in the Foothill League behind the Valencia Vikings who were eliminated last week by Rancho Cucamonga. Rancho finished third in the Baseline League and was beaten 28-7 by Upland earlier this season.
