Santa Clarita Sports Report: November 07, 2014

The Hart and Valencia football teams meet tonight for the Foothill League championship.

Both teams are 4-0 in the Foothill League. Both teams are ranked in the top 10 in the CIF Southern Section West Valley Division.

The game is at Valencia High School. Kickoff is at 7.

In other action in the Foothill League, the Canyon football team plays West Ranch. Canyon is 2-2 in the Foothill League. West Ranch is 1-3. The game is at Canyon High.

Santa Clarita High School Football

Saugus plays Golden Valley in a game with possible playoff implications.

Saugus is 1-3 and needs a win to stay in the playoff picture. Golden Valley is 0-4 and looking for its first Foothill League win in school history.

The game is at College of the Canyons.

About Kyle Jellings

Kyle Jellings grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and graduated from Canyon High School in 2004. Following his high school career he spent three years at College of the Canyons where he graduated with his Associate's Degree. Kyle then traveled to Utah where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Communication: Journalism emphasis from Utah Valley University. While in Utah, Kyle had the opportunity to do many different internships which included a Production Assistant at ESPN 700 and a Media Relations Assistant with the 2009 MLS Cup Champions Real Salt Lake. Kyle was married to his wife Paola in 2008 and they had their first child, Calvin, in August of 2010. When Kyle is not at KHTS he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in sports in any way.
