The fourth week of Foothill League basketball comes to a close tonight, and there are some exciting games to set up the sprint to the finish next week.  Live at 6:15pm on KHTS, the Golden Valley Grizzlies travel to Saugus to take on the second-place Centurions.  Hart travels to Canyon, while Valencia looks to extend their league winning streak to seven games as they take on West Ranch.

In a makeup game from last Friday, the West Ranch Wildcats upset league leading Valencia in girl’s soccer action, 2-0.  The Vikings are now in danger of not making the playoffs with another loss.  Valencia’s boy’s team defeated the Wildcats, 1-0.

The Los Angeles Lakers lost at Detroit, 90-89.

The Los Angeles Kings got a big win at the New York Islanders, 3-1.  The Kings will travel to New Jersey to take on Martin Brouder’s Devil’s, live on KHTS at 3:30pm tomorrow.
