Foothill League basketball scenarios are all set heading into tomorrow nights season finale.  In boy’s action, the West Ranch Wildcats control their own destiny following a 77-70 victory over Canyon last night in a make-up game from two weeks ago.  A West Ranch win over Golden Valley hands the Wildcats the final guaranteed spot from the Foothill League in playoff action.  Saugus and Valencia have clinched the top two spots, but may end up splitting the league championship unless Hart can beat Saugus, or Canyon can beat Valencia.  KHTS will have all of the action from Canyon High live at 6:15pm.

The Canyon girl’s team kept their third place hopes alive with a 49-44 victory over West Ranch last night.  Canyon trails Valencia by one game, however the Cowboys beat the Vikings earlier, so a Canyon win tomorrow night would clinch third place outright.  Hart and Saugus will decide whether the Foothill League has an outright champion, or a split champion.  Hart has already locked up a share of the title.

The Los Angeles Lakers lost at Atlanta, 98-95.  The Los Angeles Clippers lost to Boston, 111-100.

The Los Angeles Kings travel to NHL-leading Detroit tonight.  The game can be heard live on KHTS at 4pm.
