The Hart Indians softball team continues to show that it’s not just Valencia in the Foothill League race anymore.  UCLA-bound pitcher Destiny Rodino no-hit Canyon as the Indians picked up a 12-0 win.  Valencia’s Jessica Spigner also pitched a shutout, as the Vikings won 11-0 over Golden Valley.  Saugus beat West Ranch 11-2.

 

The nation’s top boy’s volleyball team continued its roll through the Foothill League on Tuesday.  The Valencia Vikings swept Saugus to stay undefeated in league play.  West Ranch beat Canyon three games to one, and Hart knocked off Golden Valley three to one.

 

West Ranch’s boy’s golf team practically wrapped up their first Foothill League crown by winning the third league match of the year.  Hart still has a slim chance of overtaking West Ranch, but the Wildcats are now three for three in league matches.

 

West Ranch’s boy’s tennis team picked up a big 15-3 win over Saugus, setting up a showdown on Thursday with Valencia for first place in league.

 

The Los Angeles Kings lost 5-2 at San Jose last night.  The Kings return home for their final two games of the year, starting Thursday when they host San Jose live on KHTS at 7p.m.

 

The Los Angeles Dodgers moved to 2-0 with a ninth inning victory over San Francisco, 3-2.  The Dodgers wrap the opening series tonight on KHTS, live at 6:30p.m.
