The Foothill League boy’s tennis match we’ve all been waiting for did not disappoint yesterday.  The Valencia Vikings remained undefeated in league, but West Ranch gave the Vikings a run.  In the end Viking Jack Zapala helped lead Valencia to the 11-7 win.  Saugus beat Hart 12-6.

 

Canyon’s track and field program suddenly looks vulnerable.  One week after loosing for the first time since 2001, the boy’s were brought down by Golden Valley 70-66.  The Canyon girl’s picked up their first win since the loss last week, 72-59.  Saugus swept West Ranch.

 

Canyons softball finally picked up their first league win of the year, and it was a big one.  The Cowboys beat Golden Valley 14-1 to improve to 1-2 in league play.

 

Golden Valley beat Saugus 3-1 in their boy’s volleyball match yesterday.

 

The Los Angeles Kings beat San Jose 4-2 last night.  The Kings play Anaheim on Saturday to conclude their season.

 

The Los Angeles Dodgers start their first road trip of the year tonight at San Diego, live on KHTS at 6:30p.m.
