The Hart Indians boy’s soccer team created a three-way tie atop league standings, defeating Saugus 3-2. The Indians and Centurions are now tied with Canyon at the top with just three games left.
College of the Canyon’s women’s basketball got a big win over Glendale last night, 72-50. The men’s team was not so fortunate, loosing 76-60.
COC’s softball team got off to a shaky start under first year head coach John Wissmath. The Cougars were mercy ruled 8-0 by Long Beach City College in Wissmath’s first game at the helm of the Lady Cougars program.
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated Atlanta, 95-88 behind a career best 33 points from rookie Al Thornton.
The Anaheim Ducks lost at Minnesota, 5-1. The Los Angeles Kings resume action tonight, when they travel to New York to take on the Islanders, live on KHTS at 3:30pm.
