The Hart Indians received the number two seed in the CIF-SS Northern Division playoff bracket, following their defeat of Saugus, 24-21, to win the Foothill League last Friday.  Saugus was number five, and Valencia, who knocked off the defending state champion Canyon Cowboys, also received a favorable match-up.  Saugus will host Pacifica of Oxnard at Valencia High School  That game will be live on KHTS starting at 6:30.  The Indians will host Thousand Oaks in a game that can be heard Saturday morning at 10am.  The Vikings travel to Oxnard, to take on the Pacific View League Champions. on Friday night.

 

The College of the Canyons Cougars lost to Bakersfield on Saturday, 45-41.  The Cougars, the fourth ranked team in Southern California, will host number five ranked Saddleback this coming Saturday in the Western State Conference Bowl.  KHTS will have all of the action live at 6:30.

 

The Lady Vikings of Valencia defeated Oak Park, 12-6, to advance to the third round of the division playoffs.

 

The Saugus Centurions boys’ cross-country team came up seven points short of qualifying for the finals.

 

The Los Angeles Kings defeated the Dallas Stars, 6-5 in OT on Saturday.  The Kings will travel to Anaheim to take on the Ducks tomorrow night, and that game can be heard live on KHTS at 7.
