The Valencia Vikings girl’s tennis team continued their run in the Div. III playoff bracket, defeating South Pasadena in the quarterfinals, 13-5.  The girl’s are primed for another run to the division finals.

 

Football enters its second season this weekend in Santa Clarita, and KHTS will have all of the action for you.  The Saugus Centurions take on Pacifica, live on KHTS, at 6:30pm this Friday.  Foothill League Champion Hart takes on Thousand Oaks, in a game that can be heard on Saturday at 10am.  Finally, College of the Canyons will continue their season by hosting Saddleback in the Western State Conference Bowl, live at 6:30pm Saturday.

 

The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the defending champion San Antonia Spurs.

 

UCLA defeated Cal State-San Bernardino.

 

Cleveland Indians Pitcher C.C. Sabathia has won the American League Cy Young Award.

 

The Kings fell to the Anaheim Ducks, 4-3, in a shootout.  The two teams will face off again, Thursday night, live at 7pm on KHTS.
