This weekend KHTS brings you three exciting football games, all with huge playoff implications.  First, live on Friday night, the Saugus Centurions look for their first League title in over 25 years, as they take on the Hart Indians, who are looking to win their first league since 2003.  You can catch that game at 7pm.  Then on Saturday, an exciting double-header comes to KHTS.  At 10am, you can hear the Valencia Vikings and Canyon Cowboys battle it out for the final Foothill League Playoff spot.  Then, live at 3:30pm, the College of the Canyons Cougars travel to Bakersfield in a game that will determine the Western State Conference Mountain Division Champion.  Bakersfield is the number one ranked team in California.

Sad news out of Hart High School today, as Senior Linebacker Patrick Larimore’s season is over.  Larimore tore ligaments in his thumb in a 21-21 tie against the Valencia Vikings two weeks ago.  After sitting out last week’s game against Golden Valley, Larimore got a second opinion yesterday, which confirmed that the future UCLA Bruin needs surgery.  We wish good luck and a speedy recovery to Patrick.

The College of the Canyons Girls’ Golf team won the Southern California Community College Championships on Monday.  Congratulations to the Lady Cougars.

The Lakers lose to New Orleans; the Clippers defeat Chicago, and Dodger Russell Martin was named the Gold Glove recipient for National League catchers.

You can hear the Los Angeles Kings take on the Dallas Stars live on KHTS on Saturday night immediately following the COC football game.
