The Valencia Vikings girl’s volleyball team takes on Notre Dame today, in a second round playoff match up.  The Vikings defeated Atascadero on Tuesday in the first round of the playoffs.  West Ranch lost to Nipomo, and Canyon was ousted by San Marcos.

The final week of league action comes your way this week on KHTS.  First, live at 7pm on Friday, Saugus and Hart play for the Foothill League Championship, and a possible number one seed in the playoffs.  Then, a doubleheader Saturday on KHTS.  First, the Canyon Cowboys and Valencia Vikings battle it out for the final playoff spot for Santa Clarita teams.  That game can be heard at 10am.  Then, live on KHTS at 3:30pm, the College of the Canyons Cougars, California’s tenth ranked team, travel to Bakersfield to face the state’s number one team.  The teams are tied for first atop the Western State Conference Mountain Division, a league COC has not won since 2005.

The Clippers remain perfect, defeating Indiana behind 35 points from Sam Cassell.

The Ducks fall to Phoenix in OT, 6-5.
