Hometown Sports Report

[view:node_ad=5]In girls’ volleyball, West Ranch beat Palmdale 3 games to 1, behind the outstanding play of Allison Summers. Also, Santa Clarita Christian swept West Valley Christian 3 to nothing.

 

In girls’ tennis, Hart cruised past Buena 15 to 3. Valencia beat Granada Hills 14 to 4 to extend their record to 3 – 0.

 

Congratulations to quarterback, Desi Rodriquez of Saugus High School for being named the Lockheed “Player of the Week”.  Desi’s last second game winning pass to Chris Aaron gave the Centurions a 33 to 28 win over Westlake.  For his efforts, Lockheed Federal Credit Union will be donating $250 to the Saugus Booster Club.

 

Don’t forget that KHTS will bring you exciting high school football action this Thursday night as the 2 and 0 West Ranch Wildcats play host to the Pasadena Bulldogs.  The pre-game show starts at 6:30.  Barry McKeever will have the play-by-play at 7:00, on AM-1220 KHTS.

 

The Dodgers open a very important road trip with a double header against the Colorado Rockies.  KHTS will have all of the action with the first pitch of game 1 at 12:05, preceded by the pre-game show at 11:30. Game 2 will start at 5:35.
