In women’s volleyball, the Cougars of COC swept the Rams of Victor Valley College in 3 games to none.

There’s an exciting schedule of local football action tonight.  Golden Valley goes for two in row, as they play at Reseda.  Saugus is on the road at Alemany.  Valencia plays at Orange Lutheran.  Canyon hosts Lancaster.  Hart plays Westlake at COC.  And KHTS will bring you the West Ranch Wildcats – Pasadena Bulldogs game live from Valencia High.  The pre-game show starts at 6:30.  Barry McKeever will have the play-by-play at 7:00, on AM-1220 KHTS.

In baseball, the Angels lowered their magic number to three to win the American League Western Division crown, as they beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 2 to 1.  The Dodgers’ playoff hopes took another hit as they lost 6 to 5 to the Colorado Rockies. The Dodgers complete with their series with the Rockies this afternoon.  KHTS will have all of the action with the first pitch at 12:05, preceded by the pre-game show at 11:30.
