Congratulations to Hart senior quarterback B.R. Holbrook, the final
Lockheed Player of the Week of 2007.  Holbrook passed for 290 yards and
two touchdowns, while battling through an injury to his midsection, in the Indians 42-28
loss to St. Bonaventure in the CIF-SS Northern Division Championship

 

Congratulations to the Hart Indians Varsity Cheerleaders for bringing home the Large Varsity Championship at this weekend’s CIF State Championships at the Home Depot Center in Carson.  The event was run in conjunction with the football championships.

 

The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to be big movers on the free-agent market, signing Japanese starting pitcher Hiroki Kuroda to a three-year, $35.6 million contract.  An 11 season veteran, Kuroda has been an All-Star three times, while posting a career record of 103-89 with a 3.69 ERA.  Last season, the 32-year-old was 12-8 with a 3.56 ERA.

 

Former Hart quarterback Matt Moore made his first career start for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, and led his team to a 13-10 victory over Seattle.

 

The Lakers defeated the Clippers, 113-92.

 

The Los Angeles Kings, in the midst of a three-game losing streak, host Colorado tonight, live on KHTS at 7pm
