The West Ranch Wildcats also extended their record to 3 – 0 with a convincing 41 to 22 win over Pasadena.

Saugus, behind a dominating defense and Ryan Zirbel’s three touchdowns beat Alemany 37 to 7.  The Centurions take their record to 3 – 0.

The Canyons Cowboys earned their first win of the season by beating Lancaster 37 to 26.  The win was costly however, as star receiver Mark Urbina suffered a broken leg.

Golden Valley came up short in a 35 to 31 loss to Reseda.  And Valencia was defeated by Orange Lutheran 35 to 20.

In weekend football action, the Cardinals of Santa Clarita Christian play at Lutheran San Diego.  And the COC Cougars play on the road against L.A. Southwest College.

In baseball, the Angels lost to the Seattle Mariners 9 to 5. The Dodgers lost 9 to 4 to the Colorado Rockies as they were victims of a four game sweep in Denver. The Dodgers open their final 3 game road trip of the season tonight against the Arizona Diamondbacks.  KHTS will have all of tonight’s action with the first pitch at 6:40, preceded by the pre-game show at 6:00.
