No. 18 The Master’s College Women’s Soccer Team Shuts Out San Diego Christian

news_sportsThe Master’s College women’s soccer team scored two second half goals and shut out San Diego Christian, 2-0, over the weekend. Kristyn Richards and Emily Bruton each scored for The Master’s College, the 18th-ranked team in NAIA.

The Master’s College dropped in the rankings after a little two-game losing streak, including 1-0 to Cal Baptist, the top-ranked team in the NAIA.

 

The Master’s College women are back in action this afternoon against Azusa Pacific at home on Reese Field.

The Master’s College men’s soccer team shut out San Diego Christian, 1-0, and won its fifth game in a row. Jacob Marchesani scored in the 11th minute and the 22nd-ranked Master’s College made it stand up for the rest of the game.

The College of the Canyons women’s soccer team beat Citrus College, 4-1, and won its third game in a row. Sarina Coutin had a goal and two assists for COC.

In college volleyball, the College of the Canyons women snapped a three-match losing streak with a four-game win over LA Pierce College. Lindsey Wilcox had 11 kills to lead COC to its seventh win of the season. College of the Canyons plays Santa Monica College tonight in Santa Monica.
