No. 4 Saugus Football Team Faces No. 5 Westlake At College Of The Canyons

news_sportsTonight is football night in the Santa Clarita Valley. All six Foothill League teams are in action tonight instead of Friday with Saugus, Valencia and Golden Valley playing home games.

College of the Canyons will play host to a pair of CIF Southern Section Northern Division powers.

 

Saugus, ranked fourth in the Northern Division poll, plays No. 5 Westlake at College of the Canyons. Valencia, the third-ranked team in the Northern Division, is home against Birmingham. Golden Valley hosts Santa Paula at Canyon High School.

Hart, Canyon and West Ranch are on the road. Hart plays at Righetti. Canyon is at Highland and West Ranch faces Eastside.

Santa Clarita Christian, the No. 1 ranked team in the CIF Southern Section Division I 8-man poll, is on the road to face Joshua Springs on Friday night.

The highly touted West Ranch girls volleyball team got a rude awakening. The West Ranch girls lost in four games to Campbell Hall on Tuesday. Next up is Knight High School tonight at West Ranch.
