Rooks Lose To L.A. Rampage, 4-0, In Women’s Soccer League Game

The Premier Soccer Santa Clarita Valley Rooks team lost to the LA Rampage, 4-0, despite an inspired game by goalkeeper Brooke Gauvin making her first start for the Rooks.
The Rampage scored two goals in the first half and added two more in the second half of Saturday night’s game.
The Rooks return to the soccer field on Sunday night for a game against the So Cal Rush at Canyon High School. The game starts at 5.

In auto racing, Garret Cromsigt of Saugus finished third in the Super Stocks race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale on Saturday night. Rich DeLong III, a driver from Santa Clarita, was fourth. Larry Cerquettini won the race, his fifth of the year at Irwindale.
