Santa Clarita Christian Boys Basketball Team Improves to 9-2

khts_sportsThe Santa Clarita Christian boys basketball team beat Frazier Mountain, 62-51, behind a double-double form Bret Ranhofer. He scored 16 points and had 10 assists.

Teammate Tikko Moore led Santa Clarita Christian with 19 points and Luke Asher scored 17.

It was the second win in a row for Santa Clarita Christian (9-2).

The Hart girls basketball team posted a 47-39 win over Granada Hills. Mariah Glasshoff scored a team-high 20 points for Hart.

The Master’s College men’s basketball team lost to Biola, 75-61, and had their five-game winning streak snapped.

Anthony Cammon scored a team-high 17 points for The Master’s College.

The Valencia boys basketball team is on the road against Morningside tonight for its last game before Foothill League play.

The Trinity boys basketball team is also on the road for a game against San Fernando Valley Academy.

The Hart girls are home for a game against St. Bonaventure. The Valencia girls host Beverly Hills and the Golden Valley girls are home against Monrovia.

The Santa Clarita Christian girls basketball team is set to play Grace Brethren.

In high school soccer, the Santa Clarita Christian boys and girls soccer teams are home against Frazier Mountain. The Saugus girls soccer team travels to Ventura.

The Lakers won their second game in a row, 99-95, over the Phoenix Suns. Five Lakers scored in double figures. Kobe Bryant led the way with 24. Lamar Odom had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

Next up for the Lakers are the New Orleans Hornets on Friday night at Staples Center.

The Kings are home tonight for a game against the Nashville Predators. The Kings have lost four games in a row, the most recent, 4-3 against the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night.

The Predators are coming off a 4-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks last night.
