The Santa Clarita Christian football team scored nine touchdowns, including six by running back Colin Keoshian, in a 66-43 win over Hesperia Christian.
Keoshian rushed for 304 yards on 24 carries, a 12.7 yard per carry average, as Santa Clarita Christian won for the first time since its opening game and evened its record to 2-2.
The Valencia High football team stayed undefeated, easily downing Santa Monica, 63-7, behind 186 yards rushing and four touchdowns by running back Steven Manfro.
Hart looked solid on offense and defense against Paraclete in a 28-7 win. Quarterback C.J. Reyes and receiver Ty Mac Arthur connected three times for touchdowns. Blake Borlund caught four passes for Hart. He also had an interception and recovered a fumble.
In other games, Saugus lost to Taft, 14-3, Canyon dropped to 0-4 after a 38-22 loss to Chaminade and Golden Valley was shut out again, this time by Serrano, 24-0.

In college football, College of the Canyons struggled on offense and lost in overtime, 19-16, to Allan Hancock College on Saturday night.
In high school cross country, the Saugus girls won the 45th McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, N.Y., on Saturday. Junior Kaylin Mahoney won the AAA varsity race in 17 minutes, 2.19 seconds. Five Saugus runners finished in the top 10 of the girls race.
The Saugus boys team finished third led by Robert Pion. He finished eighth overall. The Saugus boys had three runners in the top 20.
In auto racing, Canyon Country’s R.J. Johnson won the NASCAR Super Trucks race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale on Saturday night and moved into a tie for first in the Super Trucks standings at the track.
It was Johnson’s seventh win of the season in the Super Trucks division. He and Pat Mintey Jr. of Quartz Hill, the reigning Super Trucks champion, are tied for the lead in the Super Trucks standings with two races remaining.
