Rancho Verde (10-2): 55

Hart (8-4): 27

A woeful four interception night for JT Shrout (12-for-47, 244 yards, three touchdowns) as the Indians get routed at home.

Final

Santa Clara (10-2): 35

Santa Clarita Christian (11-1): 14

The No.1 team and last undefeated in Santa Clarita falls at home to Santa Clara, 35-14. Blake Kirshner had two 1-yard rushing touchdowns in the loss.

Valencia (11-1): 70

Norco (7-5): 35

In a record-setting scoring season for Valencia, the Vikings set a season high on the road in the Quarterfinals.

Another dominant defensive performance, and the game of his career by Joshua Deneal. The defensive end batted a ball to himself in the end zone for a touchdown, then recovered a punt block for another score.

Injuries: Jayvaun Wilson exited the game after the first drive with an ankle injury.

3-seed Valencia will host 2-seed Heritage in the D2 Semifinals next Friday.

Fountain Valley (7-5): 14

Golden Valley (7-5): 41

DJ Turner (two touchdowns) leads the way in a dominant home win for the Grizzlies, as they move on to the D6 Semifinals.

Golden Valley will travel to Mira Costa next Friday.

Final

Saugus (6-6): 28

St. Paul (5-7): 27

St. Paul botched a snap with 4:30 to play in regulation and the quarterback fell on the ball in the end zone for a Saugus safety. Saugus then iced the game with an interception with :01 on the clock to preserve the one point victory.

Saugus will host D6 No. 1 Bishop Diego at College of the Canyons in the Semifinal round next Friday.

Mira Costa (6-6): 45

Canyon (6-6): 28

The Cowboys couldn’t keep pace in a shootout, going scoreless in the 4th quarter (38-28 going into the 4th).

Canyon’s season ends with a Quarterfinals defeat at home.
