Week Three
KHTS Game of the Week
Final
Sierra Canyon: 44
Valencia (1-2): 38
The Trailblazers and Vikings combined for 923 yards of total offense in this old fashioned shootout, with Valencia ultimately running out of time for the late go-ahead score.
Valencia’s two losses have come by a combined nine points in two hard fought games. Their reward? The Calabasas Coyotes next week.

Final/OT
Crespi: 14
Golden Valley (1-3): 21
The Grizzlies pick up their first win of the season in dramatic fashion, scoring first in overtime and coming up big defensively to stop the Celts. Golden Valley was down 14-0 after the first quarter, then it became the Johnathan Kaelin show the rest of the way. Kaelin scored all three TD’s.
GV will host Bishop Diego next week in a rematch of the 2017 Division 6 championship game, our KHTS Game of the Week.
–
Final
West Ranch (4-0): 48
Royal: 7
Division 6 No. 3 West Ranch off to another blistering start to the season after fourth straight rout. The Wildcats can match last season’s 5-0 start with a win against Oak Park.
–
Final
Hart (2-1): 49
Burbank: 28
Indians pull away in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs 49-14 after trailing 14-0 early in the game. Zach Johnson is settling in nicely at quarterback with a career night of five touchdown passes.
Hart welcomes a good St. Bonaventure (3-1) team to College of the Canyons next week.
–
Final
Canyon (1-2): 30
Palmdale: 54
Canyon couldn’t keep up with Palmdale in the shootout, outscored 26-16 by the Falcons in the second half. The Cowboys are on the road next week at Simi Valley.
–
Final
Thousand Oaks: 6
Saugus (4-0): 42
Saugus puts together another complete performance — contributions from all three phrases — to shut down Thousand Oaks. Saugus QB Cole Gallagher was unstoppable on the ground, with four rushing touchdowns to go along with a passing touchdown.
