Santa Clarita Sports: COC Baseball Lost To The College Of The Sequoias, 12-7

In college baseball, the College of the Canyons lost to the College of the Sequoias, 12-7.

The Master’s College shut out Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 5-0. Ryan Shackelford hit a solo home run and went 2-for-4 for the Mustangs. The Master’s College improved to 11-1.

In college basketball, The Master’s College women lost to Vanguard, 99-89. Vanguard is the No. 1 ranked team in the NAIA. The Master’s College women are ranked No. 9 in the NAIA.

In the NBA, the Lakers lost to the Timberwolves in Minnesota, 109-99. The Lakers have lost seven games in a row.

The Lakers will try to end the losing streak against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. Tipoff is at 4.
