Santa Clarita Sports: Hart Baseball Adds To Winning Streak

Two players from The Master’s College were selected to the NAIA Division 1 All America women’s basketball team.

Jacquelyn Marshal earned a spot on the NAIA All America first team. It was the second time in her college career she was selected as an All American.

Zoe Scott was selected as an honorable mention to the NAIA All America team.

In high school baseball, Hart takes on Golden Valley in a Foothill League game today. Hart has an eight-game winning streak and is 3-0 in the Foothill League.

Golden Valley has lost three games in a row and is 0-3 in the Foothill League.

West Ranch and Saugus play a game for second place in the Foothill League. Both teams are 2-1 in the Foothill League standings.

West Ranch is coming off its first loss of the season to Hart on Wednesday.

Canyon travels to take on Valencia today. Both teams won their first Foothill League games on Wednesday.

In college baseball, The Master’s College is ranked No. 7 in the recently released NAIA poll. The Mustangs play Concordia, ranked No. 12 in the NAIA, this weekend at The Master’s College.

In the NBA, the Clippers beat the Dallas Mavericks, 109-103. The Clippers play the Houston Rockets on Saturday.

The Lakers lost to the Milwaukee Bucks, 108-105. The Lakers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.

In the major leagues, the Angels beat the Dodgers, 7-5, in the first game of the Freeway Series. The Angels scored four runs in the seventh inning to win the game.

Game 2 of the Freeway Series is tonight at Dodger Stadium. First pitch is at 7:10.

In the NHL, the Kings beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 3-2, and won their fifth game in a row. The Kings tied a franchise record with their eighth straight win on the road.

They are home for a game against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night.
