Santa Clarita Sports: Hart Boys Basketball Undefeated In The Foothill League

The Hart boys basketball team is undefeated in the Foothill League. The Indians are 5-0 after the first round of league play. They take on West Ranch tonight.

West Ranch is tied with Canyon and Valencia for second place in the Foothill League standings. All three teams have 3-2 records.

Valencia takes on Saugus tonight. The Vikings lost to West Ranch on Tuesday night. Saugus is 0-5 in the Foothill League.

Canyon is on the road against Golden Valley. Canyon lost to Hart on Tuesday. Golden Valley won its first Foothill League game of the season over Saugus.

On the girls side, Valencia is undefeated at 5-0 in the Foothill League. The Valencia girls play Saugus tonight. Saugus is winless in the Foothill League and has lost seven games in a row.

The Canyon girls travel to play Golden Valley. The Hart girls take on West Ranch.

In college baseball, the College of the Canyons lost to Cerritos, 1-0. COC starter JC Cloney gave up an unearned run on five hits in seven innings.

It was the first loss of the season for COC. The Cougars are 1-1.

Los Angeles Sports Report

In the NBA, the Clippers lost to the Golden State Warriors, 111-92, and had their four-game winning streak snapped.

Next up for the Clippers are the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.

In the NHL, the Kings lost to the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-1. The Kings have lost seven of their past eight games.

The Kings will look to turn it around against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
