Santa Clarita Sports Report: April 1, 2015 – The West Ranch softball team beat Chaminade, 7-1, behind a three-hit day from Jessie Harper.

She had two singles and a triple. West Ranch scored three runs in the first inning to jump out to an early lead.

Lexi Sorenson pitched five shutout innings and struck out nine.

West Ranch improved to 11-3.

In high school golf, the West Ranch boys lost to Ventura by six strokes in a match at the Soule Park Golf Course in Ojai.

Drake Walker shot the low round for West Ranch, a 7-over 79.

West Ranch dropped to 3-4.

In the NBA, the Clippers lost to the Golden State Warriors, 110-106, and snapped a seven-game winning streak.

Blake Griffin scored 40 points in the loss. DeAndre Jordan grabbed 15 rebounds.

The Clippers are back on the court tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers.
