Santa Clarita Sports Report: April 14, 2015 – The Valencia baseball team is ranked No. 9 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 poll.

Valencia is in first place in the Foothill League with a 4-1 record.

J Serra is ranked No. 1 in the Division 1 poll.

The Santa Clarita Christian baseball team is ranked No. 4 in the Southern Section Division 7 poll.

Riverside Prep is No. 1 in Division 7.

In high school volleyball, the Valencia boys are ranked No. 4 in the Southern Section Division 2 poll. The Canyon boys are ranked No. 9 in Division 2.

Laguna Beach is the No. 1 team in the Division 2 poll.

In high school tennis, the West Ranch boys are tied for 10th in the Southern Section Division 2 poll.

Santa Margarita is ranked No. 1 in Division 2.

In the NBA, the Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets, 110-103. The Clippers have won six games in a row. They take on the Phoenix Suns in the regular season finale tonight.

Los Angeles Sports News

The Lakers lost to the Sacramento Kings, 102-92. The Lakers wrap up their regular season against the Kings on Wednesday.

In the major leagues, the Dodgers beat the Seattle Mariners, 6-5, in 10 innings.

The Dodgers continue their series against the Mariners tonight.

David Huff starts for the Dodgers against Hisashi Iwakuma for the Mariners. First pitch is at 7:10.
