Santa Clarita Sports Report: April 22, 2015 – The Master’s College baseball team beat Providence Christian, 10-9.
The Master’s College, ranked No. 5 in the NAIA, scored five runs in the fourth inning to take a 10-3 lead.
But Providence Christian scored four runs in the ninth inning to cut the lead to one run.

The Master’s College improved to 39-9.
The College of the Canyons beat Bakersfield College, 7-5, and snapped a four-game losing streak.
Roy Verdejo was 2-for-4 and drove in three runs for COC.
In college softball, College of the Canyons swept a doubleheader against LA Valley College. COC won the first game, 7-0, and the second, 9-8.
In high school softball, Santa Clarita Christian lost to St. Monica Academy, 11-10.
St. Monica scored three runs in the seventh inning to win the game.
Annarose Back was 2-for-3 and drove in three runs for Santa Clarita Christian.
In the NBA, the Clippers take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series.
The Clippers won Game 1. Tipoff for Game 2 is at 7:30.
