Los Angeles Dodgers

A Justin Turner solo shot was all new Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill needed Wednesday night, pitching six shutout innings en route to a 1-0 Dodgers victory.

Los Angeles and San Francisco are headed in different directions. One of the most formidable teams since the All-Star break, the Dodgers have won four straight games and open the largest divisional lead of the season for any team, three games up on the Giants and looking for a sweep tonight.

LA will be seriously challenged tonight in the series finale with facing left-handed pitcher Matt Moore. The Dodgers rank dead last in team batting average against lefties this season.

Ross Stripling (3-4, 4.04 ERA) gets the spot start and first pitch is at 7:10.

Los Angeles Dodgers 71-55

San Francisco Giants 68-58 (3 GB)
