Santa Clarita Sports Report: August 4, 2015 – The College of the Canyons won the Western State Conference Supremacy Award for the second year in a row.

COC sports teams won six Western State Conference championships in 2014-15. The college edged out Santa Barbara City College to win the Supremacy Award.

COC won conference championships in women’s volleyball, men’s cross country, women’s soccer and women’s golf in the fall.

In the major leagues, the Dodgers are in Philadelphia to start a series against the Phillies tonight.

The Dodgers have won three games in a row, sweeping the Angels over the weekend.

The Dodgers are 60-45 overall and in first place in the National League West standings.
