Saturday’s Results

Valencia: 69

Calabasas: 63

Richard Kawakami (15 points) and Josh Assiff (13 points) led the way for the Vikings, as they moved to 7-3 overall (they also defeated Granada Hills on Friday). They’ll open league play in the KHTS Game of the Week this Friday at Saugus.

Saugus: 59

Granada Hills: 57

The Centurions have won three in a row after wins over Viewpoint, Campbell Hall and finally Granada Hills on Saturday. Freshman Nate Perez dropped 30 points to lead Saugus over Granada Hills.

Next up: vs Valencia on Friday night in the Game of the Week

West Ranch: 57

Campbell Hall: 69

West Ranch fell to Campbell Hall after defeating Viewpoint on Friday. The Wildcats are 7-5 on the season and open league play at Canyon on Friday.

Canyon: 62

Buena: 68 F/OT

Canyon dropped its final game of the Simi Valley Tip-off in overtime against Buena.

Next up: vs West Ranch on Friday

Viewpoint: 105 F/2OT

Hart: 103

The Indians lost a dramatic one against Viewpoint after storming back in the fourth quarter (down 14 points) to force the first overtime. Hart has lost four straight games.

Santa Clarita Christian: 55

Sierra Canyon: 77

Consensus top-5 team Sierra Canyon handled SCCS with ease in the Sierra Canyon Tournament to drop the Cardinals to 8-4 on the season.

Saugus has won seven in a row and had a strong showing in the Vaughn Tournament last week.

The Wildcats finished 2-2 in the Northeast Valley Tournament.
