Santa Clarita Sports Report: December 29, 2014: This is Tim Haddock with your Hometown Sports on AM 1220 KHTS.

The Hart girls soccer team will play Quartz Hill in the championship game of the Hart Tournament today.

Hart shut out Granada Hills, 4-0, in their semifinal game. Hart took a 2-0 lead in the first half. Taylor Moorhead scored the first two goals for Hart.

Sarah Lindberg scored twice in the second half. Hart improved to 5-3-1.

Quartz Hill shut out Valencia, 1-0, in the other semifinal. Alexa Adams scored in the seventh minute and Quartz Hill made the goal stand up.

Quartz Hill is 10-1-2. Hart and Quartz Hill played to a 1-1 draw on Dec. 5.

On the boys side, Hart plays Valencia in the championship game of the Hart Tournament today.

Valencia shut out a short-handed Newbury Park team 3-0. Alex Trujillo scored two goals and had an assist.

The Vikings ran their record to an undefeated 6-0.

Hart blanked Dos Robles, 2-0, in their semifinal game. Robert Alfonso and Jeysen Rodriguez scored in the first half for Hart.

Hart is 9-1-2.

In the NBA, the Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns, 116-107. They have lost three games in a row and six of their past seven.

Next up for the Lakers are the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.

In the NHL, the Kings are in Calgary for a game against the Flames tonight.

The Kings are coming off a 3-1 win over the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night.

The Kings have won three of their past four games.
