Santa Clarita Sports Report: February 09, 2015: The Hart boys soccer team shut out Saugus, 3-0, and ran its unbeaten streak in the Foothill League to eight games.
The Hart boys won at least a share of the Foothill League title. They are 7-0-1 in league. Saugus is in second place in league at 5-2-1.
Hart took a 2-0 lead in the first half. Michael Valencia scored in the fifth minute. Justin Scott scored 20 minutes later to make it 2-0 before halftime.
Allen Villasenor scored the third goal for Hart in the second half.

The Hart girls soccer team shut out Saugus, 2-0, and moved into first place in the Foothill League standings.
Taylor Moorhead and Charlize Martinez scored for Hart. The Hart girls are 4-0-4 in the Foothill League. Saugus dropped to 3-1-4 in league.
In high school basketball, the Valencia boys beat Golden Valley, 79-48, to stay in first place in the Foothill League.
The Hart boys knocked off Saugus, 77-63.
The West Ranch boys beat Canyon, 79-70.
The Valencia girls basketball team beat Golden Valley, 69-35, and won its fourth game in a row. The Valencia girls are in first place in the Foothill League at 7-1.
The Trinity Classical Academy boys basketball team beat Santa Clarita Christian, 39-37, in a Heritage League game. Ian Caddow put back the game-winner with eight seconds to play in the game.
Trinity improved to a perfect 7-0 in league. Santa Clarita Christian dropped to 4-2.
In the NBA, the Clippers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 131-108. It was the fourth loss in a row for the Clippers.
They are back on the court tonight against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Lakers lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 120-105. It was the 10th straight loss in a row on the road for the Lakers.
They take on the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.
In the NHL, the Kings take on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight. The Kings are coming off a 4-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak.
