Santa Clarita Sports Report: February 20, 2015: The Hart girls soccer team shut out Yucaipa, 4-0, in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 2 playoffs.

Hart scored three goals in the second half to knock Yucaipa out of the playoffs.

Sarah Lindborg had a goal and an assist. She scored in the second half to give Hart a 3-0 lead.

Taylor Scott scored in the first half off an assist from Jenny Chavez. She scored Hart final goal in the second half.

The Canyon girls scored a huge upset, knocking out Redlands, 4-2, on the road in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs.

Canyon scored four goals in the second half and erased a 2-0 deficit at halftime.

Brooke Ybarra scored the go-ahead goal in the 61st minute.

The West Ranch girls soccer team lost to Westlake, 2-1, and were eliminated from the Division 2 playoffs.

In high school basketball, the Santa Clarita Christian girls beat Shandon, 45-19, in the first round of the Southern Section Division 6 playoffs.

It was the first playoff win for Santa Clarita Christian in four years.

High School Sports

The Trinity Classical Academy girls basketball team lost to Boron, 45-20, in the first round of the Division 5A playoffs.

The Albert Einstein Academy girls lost to St. Joseph from Santa Maria, 89-15, in the first round of the Division 5AA playoffs.

In the NBA, the Clippers beat the San Antonio Spurs, 119-115, and won their third game in a row. It was the Clippers first game since the All-Star break.

The Clippers take on the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
