Santa Clarita Sports Report: January 14, 2015: Four players from the Foothill League were selected to the All-CIF West Valley Division team.

Hart teammates Brady White and Trent Irwin are on the team. White was the quarterback at Hart. Irwin set state records in receptions and receiving yards for Hart in his senior season.

Valencia’s Jay Jay Wilson was selected to the offensive team as a running back.

Canyon’s Israel Carbrera earned as spot on the team as a defensive back.

Santa Clarita Christian’s Cameron Lewis was selected to the All-CIF East Valley Division team as a receiver.

In the NBA, the Lakers lost to the Miami Heat, 78-75, and lost their second game in row. The Lakers have lost four of their past five games.

In the NHL, the Kings are home for a game against the New Jersey Devils at Staples Center tonight.

The Kings are coming off a 2-0 shutout over the Toronto Maple Leafs. But it was the Kings’ first win in their past four games.
