Santa Clarita Sports Report: January 21, 2015: The Master’s College women’s basketball team beat Hope International, 67-55, in a Golden State Athletic Conference game.
The Master’s College women, ranked No. 14 in the NAIA, led 40-29 at halftime.
Bianca Cubello scored 20 points and had eight rebounds for the Lady Mustangs. They improved to 15-4 and 6-1 in conference.

Hope International is ranked No. 4 in the NAIA. The Master’s College men dropped to 6-11 and 1-6 in conference.
In high school basketball, the West Ranch boys is ranked No. 11 in the CIF Southern Section Division 2AA poll. West Ranch won its first two Foothill League games.
The Canyon boys basketball team is No. 14 in the Southern Section Division 2AA poll.

On the girls side, Golden Valley is ranked in the Southern Section Division 2A poll. They are No. 13.
The Hart girls are ranked No. 4 in the Southern Section Division 2A poll.
The Canyon girls are ranked No. 12 in the Southern Section Division 2AA poll.
The Valencia girls are ranked No. 14 in the Southern Section Division 1AA poll.
