Nicole Benz scored 24 points and made six 3-pointers for Hart.
The Hart girls improved to 4-0 in league and are all alone in first place.
The Canyon girls knocked off Valencia, 52-48, and handed the Vikings their first league loss of the season.
The Canyon girls moved into a tie with Valencia for second place in league. Both teams have 3-1 records

The Saugus girls beat West Ranch, 50-36, and won their first league game of the season.
On the boys side, the Valencia boys beat Canyon, 56-43, but there is still a log jam atop the Foothill League standings.

Malik McCowan scored 22 points, 17 in the second half, for Valencia.
The Vikings improved to 3-1 in league, but they are tied with Hart and West Ranch for first place.
The Hart boys beat Golden Valley, 92-55. Myles Franklin scored 23 points for Hart.
The West Ranch boys beat Saugus, 65-53. Ryan Beddeo led West Ranch with 23 points.
The Santa Clarita Christian boys basketball team beat Pacifica Christian, 67-31. Chris Catalano scored 20 points to pace Santa Clarita Christian.
