Santa Clarita Sports Report: July 20, 2015 – Hart High graduate Jason Gore finished in a tie for 16^th place at the Barbasol Championship at the RTJ Trail Course in Alabama.

He was 11-under for the tournament.

Scott Piercy won the tournament. He was 19-under and won by three strokes.

Valencia High graduate Alison Lee finished in a tie for 45^th place at the LPGA Marathon Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Ohio.

She shot 1-under for the tournament and was even-par on the final round.

Chella Choi won the tournament in a playoff over Ha Na Jang. Choi was 14-under for the tournament and won the first playoff hole.

In auto racing, Gabby Chaves, driving for Bryan Herta Autosport in the Verizon IndyCar Series, was 16^th in the Iowa Corn 300.

Ryan Hunter-Reay won the race. It was his first win of the season.

In the major leagues, the Dodgers shut out the Washington Nationals, 5-0, behind another dominating performance by starter Zack Greinke.
