Santa Clarita Sports Report: June 22, 2015

Santa Clarita Sports Report: June 22, 2015 – Jordan Spieth won the US Open golf tournament at Chambers Bay in Washington in a wild finish.

He made a birdie on the 16th hole and had a comfortable lead heading in to the final two holes.

But he double-bogeyed the 17th hole before making a birdie on the 18th hole to win the US Open.

Spieth won The Masters Tournament Augusta giving him the first two major golf tournament of the year. He is only the sixth player to win the first two majors and is half way to the grand slam of golf.

In the major leagues, the Dodgers beat the visiting San Francisco Giants, 10-2, and avoided a weekend sweep.

The Dodgers hit four home runs in the game. Yasmani Grandal hit two. The Dodgers scored four runs in the second inning to take a 5-0 lead.

Adrian Gonzalez and Justin Turner also homered.

The Dodgers are off to Chicago to start a series against the Cubs tonight.

Clayton Kershaw starts for the Dodgers against Tsuyoshi Wada for the Cubs
