In golf, Hart High graduate Jason Gore finished in a tie for 10^th place at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut.

He shot a 1-under 69 in the final round and was 10-under for the tournament.

Bubba Watson won the Travelers Championship in a playoff with Paul Casey.

In the major leagues, the Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks, 10-6. The Diamondbacks scored four runs in the eighth inning to break a 6-6 tie.

The Dodgers hit three home runs in the third inning to take a 4-0 lead.
