Santa Clarita Sports Report: March 09, 2015 – The Hart boys soccer team lost to Bellflower, 1-0, in the championship game of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 championship game.

Bellflower scored the lone goal of the game in the 38th minute, just before halftime.

Hart is the first team from the Santa Clarita Valley to reach the championship game of the CIF boys soccer playoffs.

The Hart boys earned a berth in the CIF Southern California Division 3 Regionals. They will play Bakersfield South in the first round.

In high school baseball, Valencia beat Apple Valley, 18-1, in the first round of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Tournament.

Valencia hit five home runs in the game. Devin Davis hit an inside-the-park home run.

Hart lost to Chatsworth, 8-3.

In the NBA, the Clippers lost to the Golden State Warriors, 106-98. It was the second loss in a row for the Clippers.

They take on the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.

The Lakers lost to the Dallas Mavericks, 100-93. The Lakers have lost five games in a row.

They play the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday.
