Santa Clarita Sports Report: March 23, 2015

Santa Clarita Sports Report: March 23, 2015 – The Master’s College baseball team swept and doubleheader against Biola and leads the Golden State Athletic Conference standings.

The Master’s College won the first game, 7-3, and the nightcap, 7-4. The Mustangs have a 1 ½ game lead over Westmont.

The Master’s College baseball team is ranked No. 6 in the NAIA.

In college basketball, Russell Byrd from The Master’s College scored 14 points in the NABC-NAIA All-Star Game in Missouri. The NAIA Division I All Stars won the game, 100-96, over the Division II All Stars.

He made three 3-pointers and had seven rebounds.

In NASCAR, Brad Keselowski won the Auto Club 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.

It was his first win of the season and his 17th career win in the Sprint Cup Series.

In the NBA, the Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers, 101-87, and snapped a four-game losing streak.

The Lakers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night.

The Clippers beat the New Orleans Pelicans, 107-100, and won their fourth game in a row.

The Clippers play the New York Knicks on Wednesday.

Los Angeles Sports

In the NHL, the Kings are in New Jersey for a game against the Devils tonight.

The Kings are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. They have lost three of their past four games.
